Professional Language Course German C1 - Special Module "Academic Health Professions
In this German course you will acquire the language skills required to obtain your licence to practise medicine, dentistry or pharmacy and prepare yourself for everyday working life in Germany. We specifically teach you the skills you need for competent communication in the workplace.
We train your understanding of medical topics in Germany as well as the practical application in communication. Our goal: We want to help you transfer the professional knowledge you have acquired in your home country into the German language. We also inform you about the regulations in Germany.
An important part of the course is the targeted preparation for the professional language examination German C1. This is necessary for your licence to practise medicine.
These language courses are primarily aimed at migrants. They are funded by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs / the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees.
Who can participate?
Any person who
- completed a course of study in human medicine, dentistry or pharmacy in their home country
- proven B2 language skills and placement test at inlingua
- Eligibility for participation (BAMF, Employment Agency, Job Centre)
The job centres and employment agencies promote this measure in order to improve the participants' chances on the job and training market. A course consists of at least 3-7 participants.
Costs
Participation in the subsidised course is generally free of charge. Employees with an annual taxable income of more than 20,000 euros who are subject to social insurance contributions must pay a contribution of 2.32 euros per teaching unit.
